Dr. U.K. De did his M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D. from the University of Burdwan, West Bengal. He joined the Department on 4^th October, 2001. Presently, he is Associate Professor of Economics in the Department.

He teaches Econometrics and Environmental and Resource Economics.
